Introduction Classes

Introduction classes are 1.5 hours long and give you a taster of Smooth and Rhythm dancing. You get to experience a group class environment and our teaching style at Two Right Feet Dance Studio. During this class we teach basic steps in four dances and explain the options available to you to learn more. These classes are held before each Beginners Course.

Beginners Course

The Beginners course is an 8 week course with a 1 hour class + 1/2 hour practice session each week.  This course teaches basic steps in the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha and East Coast Swing.

Bronze 1 Courses

After the Beginners Course the next level is the Bronze 1 Courses. We split the Smooth and Rhythm dances at this stage, so you can choose to focus on just one style or do both. Due to the number of Rhythm dances that we teach, we split our Rhythm courses into Rhythm A and Rhythm B.

These courses focus on technique and how we use our bodies to help us dance. The courses are 8 weeks long and each class is 1.5 hours long with an optional 30 minute practice at the end of each class.

Bronze 2 Courses

Our Bronze 2 level courses continue to build on the steps and more importantly the technique you learnt at Bronze 1 level. This level is designed in the same way where we split the Smooth and the Rhythm A dances.

This level works heavily on technique for all dances, and introduces new concepts and skills.

Our Bronze 2 courses are not designed to complete once and then move on. They are to be repeated multiple times, so that you really understand and can execute the technique involved in each dance.

As with all our group classes there is an optional 30 minute practice at the end of each class.

Other Options

In addition to our regular scheduled classes, you can take casual classes or sign up for private lessons.

If you have any questions, feel free to discuss with Genna or Lisa.
