COVID – 19

Partner dancing involves close proximity and physical contact, so we have implemented a number of policies to keep us and our students safe .

What are we doing to help?

All students and teachers will be required to show their vaccine pass to attend all events and classes

We are following advice from the Ministry of Health website and the COVID-19 website

We have also taken advice from DANZ and Exercise NZ and are implementing some of the framework around COVID-19 created specifically for the exercise industry.

We are ensuring that the premises we use are as hygienic as possible and will be cleaning touch points before classes

We will be adhering to the 1m social distancing requirements where possible

The teachers will be washing their hands between each lesson

What can you do to help?

DO NOT COME TO THE STUDIO if:

  • You have experienced any COVD symptoms in the last 14 days (sore throat, cough, fever)
  • Anyone in your bubble has experienced any COVID symptoms in the last 14 days
  • You have been contacted by A DHB or local health authority and are awaiting test results or have been asked to complete a COVID test.

Adhere to the 1m social distancing while waiting for your lesson

Wear a mask while in the studio, before and after your lessons. You do not need to wear a mask for the duration of your lesson.

Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands – frequently and thoroughly with soap (soap is far more effective than hand sanitiser but we do have this available in case you need some during class). Make sure you wash your hands before and after each dance class.

Try not touch your face – unless your hands are freshly clean.

If any changes to the traffic light system that affect any of the above and/or our classes/events, we will contact the student body directly.
