If you’ve mastered all the steps and technique in Bronze 2 Smooth then this course is for you.
This is where it gets serious and great rise and fall in your Waltz isn’t enough anymore! We start looking at swing and sway and giving Tango some real attitude. You learn to take up space on the dance floor and really use your feet to drive you in a controlled manner. You do get a couple of new steps in each dance, but this course is heavy on technique in our Smooth dances:
The course structure is slightly different from our other courses. Each class is class 2 hours long and with an optional 15 minute practice session following each class.
In addition to the 8 lessons, and for an additional cost, we also run a 2 hour workshop dedicated to this course. The workshop is not compulsory, but it is highly recommended that you attend if possible. The workshop for this course will be on Monday 1 November at 6pm
Please note that progression to this course does require you to take a progress test and have approval from the studio principals.
What: Bronze 3 Smooth Course
When: Saturday 23 September 2023
Where: St Catherine’s College, 14 Upper Bourke Street, Kilbirnie
Saturdays will be at St Catherine’s College. First class venue (on Friday) is TBC.
Time: 12 noon – 2.15pm (including 15 min practice)
Cost: $190 per person for just the course or $240 per person to include the workshop
If paid separately the workshop is $70 per person
(payable by either cash, EFTPOS or Internet Banking)
Due to external events and a public holiday there will be no lessons on Saturday 30 September, 14 and 21 October. There will be a catch up lesson on Sunday 1 October (2 – 4.15pm).
