Performance Workshops

This is an opportunity for you to take part in a choreographed routine with other students and perform it during the Saturday night dance. There will be three 1 hour workshops across the weekend for you to learn and rehearse the routine, before the performance on Saturday night in front of your fellow dancers. This will be great fun and we are really looking forward to Two Right Feet’s inaugural student routine!

Bolero Beginners

This workshop is designed for students who have either never danced Bolero before, or want to go over the basic steps to really consolidate them. We will be teaching a couple of basic steps and looking at technique specific to Bolero.

Rumba Variations

This is Brian Jones’ first workshop of the weekend and he will be teaching you some variations on the steps you already know, to add to your dancing tool belt. If you haven’t been to one of Brian’s workshops before, he is an amazing dancer and a great teacher – this is one not to be missed!

Musicality

Musicality is about dancing to the rhythm, melody and mood of a song rather than just the beat. Brian’s second workshop of the weekend will be looking at how you can start to achieve this in your own dancing. How to dance ‘inside’ the music rather than ‘on top’ of it.

Cha Cha

This workshop is about adding some more steps to your Cha Cha tool belt. It is designed for dancers at all levels as you will learn steps that we don’t teach in either the Beginners or Bronze classes. A couple of steps to pull out of the bag to impress your friends at the next party!

Bolero Intermediate

This will be Brian’s final workshop for the weekend and he will be building on the steps and technique you already have for Bolero. You must therefore have completed a full Bronze I Rhythm A Course to attend this workshop and we would also recommend that you take the Bolero Beginners workshop on Saturday, although this isn’t compulsory.

East Coast Swing

A little more of a relaxed dance to finish off the weekend. This workshop will equip you with another couple of steps in this popular dance, so save some energy for this at the end of the weekend.
