Our studio premises opened at the end of 2023 and are available for hire. If there are any classes or events you need to hire studio space for one of our spaces may suit your requirements.
We are open to one off events or regular bookings and are available to discuss your requirements and how one of our spaces may work for you.
Our studio is in central Wellington at 175 Vivan Street. It is within walking distance from two main bus routes and easily accessible for vehicles along Vivan Street. We are at street level with walk-in access off Vivan Street. The front windows are frosted so you cannot directly see in from the street but plenty of natural light is still provided. We have two spaces available:
The large studio has an oiled fully sprung dance floor 15 x 9.6m in size. A short and a long side of the dance floor runs along walls. There is low seating and storage cubby holes along the other long wall with a carpeted walkway down the two free sides. Access to the bathroom is at the back of the studio. There is florescent lighting, as well as full length windows to provide natural light. There are two heat pumps/air coolers servicing this space. There are two wall mounted speakers and earphone/iPhone jack or Bluetooth access to the sound system. This space is $50/hour inc. GST.
The small studio also has an oiled fully sprung dance floor and is at the back of the building. The dance floor is 6.5 x 7m in size. It has a speaker system that is connected by earphone/iPhone jack only. There is florescent lighting for this space and a Dyson fan for cooling the room. The bathroom is accessible from this studio as well. You need to pass through the bigger space to access the smaller studio at the back (does not require passing along the dance floor though). This studio is $25/hour inc. GST.
